Cosmopolitan magazine

The model is placed over the masthead, which suggests she is the most important thing on there and draws your attention to her. You can still see what the masthead says though, it shows how memorable this magazine is too, as you are able to recognise the brand immediately.
The use of Camila Mendes reaches out to a teenage audience because she is in Riverdale which is a teenage Netflix show. Although the coverlines suggest it is aimed at a bit of an older audience, because it touches more adult topics, such as sex and relationships.
The positioning of Camila's body language suggests she is powerful, as her eyes are staring directly at the camera, her chin is tilted and her arms are up. Which shows women they can have confidence and power. Which will make them feel good about themselves and buy the magazine so they can read about how to do this and be inspired.
Also the colour scheme suggests it is aimed to a female audience because it uses pinks and reds, these are stereotypical female colours. Which links to it being a romantic or passionate magazine too.
The use of words on the coverlines also suggests it is aimed at women because it directly states women and says "he'll bring it in bed" talking about relationships.
The use of the pronoun "you" and "yourself" ensure that the reader feels involved because it is directly addressing them.
Moreover, this cover has not been photoshopped. If the reader follows Cami on instagram they would have seen there was speculation that another conutry's release of this magazine had photoshopped her waist to be slimmer. The fact that this edition has left it natural shows women that they should love their bodies the way that they are and should not have to change/ edit to portray a particular body shape. Also over on Camila's Instagram she talks about struggles she used to have and an end to dieting, which will encourage the reader to feel more confident about themselves and speak out about their troubles rather than suffering alone and it becoming unhealthy.
